ASR will once again partner with SIMA to create the most dynamic environment for surf board builders today. Retailers will be able to meet with shapers, learn about board construction and technology, network with associates all in a convenient central location.

Come stop by the BRA area to access free computer terminals, obtain show information, and network with peers. In addition, learn more about BRA and their many services to benefit specialty retail and a lifestyle.
ISPO Internet Lounge
Located: Hall F

The ASR Runway show, co-sponsored by Foam Magazine, has solidified its position as a vital fashion event, highlighting the newest collections, created by talented designers from the hottest brands in the action sports industry.
Foam Magazine & ASR invite all you Brains, Athletes, Basket Cases, Princesses and Criminals to get dressed for detention as professional models present to buyers and mainstream media an assortment of featured trends to hit the streets in 2008.
Podium Distribution will also be debuting their Matix Girls line in a dedicated segment of the Runway Show.

This area of the ASR show floor is dedicated to art, and music inspired, up and coming, and new brands to ASR. Retailers can search for the next hot product in this intimate and creative area of ASR.
ASR Skate Ramp
Located: Special Events Area (Hall D)
Thursday, January 24: 10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m., 1 p.m.–2 p.m., 4:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
Friday, January 25: 10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m., 1 p.m.–2 p.m., 4:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
Saturday, January 26: 10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
This year’s skate area will consist of an extensive skate ramp and some standard flat ground obstacles. The ramp and obstacles have once again been provided by Jim Bell’s Skateboard Ramps. The mini-ramp will be 64' wide with multiple heights and extensions, 8' decks, and surfaced in Ramp Armor. The flat ground area will consist of ledges, flat bars, manual pads, and most importantly, plenty of space for mandatory flat ground skating. Be sure to stop by the skate ramp for some quality skating, free promo materials given away daily, and to have a few laughs while the crew from SPoTlight Productions entertains everyone.
Matix Clothing Presents "Lord of the Lines, Ledge Alley"
Located: Special Events Area (Hall D)
Saturday, January 26: 1:00p.m. - 4:00p.m.
LOTL’s debut in Spring 07’ sparked a new idea toward the average contest. Three obstacles are set in a line and three riders have ten minutes to create a line using those obstacles. Best line wins!
The new course will feature three ledge boxes, varying in size and capability, and can be used as ledges or manual pads. With a $16,000.00 purse at hand, we’ve got cash to hand out. In 2008, LOTL will be an invite-only pro and am contest.

Need to refresh on the show floor? Well, the good folks at DVS will allow you to do just that with a unique beer garden and drinks flowing from 12:00 – 6:00. Don’t miss the chance to take in a cold one while discussing business at ASR!
IASC Skate Hardgoods Area
Located: Hall D on the Show Floor
Come join IASC to learn more about the skate industry, and see products from up and coming, along with established manufacturers. In addition, the area will include a historical display highlighting the history of skate hardgoods.
CreateASkate Program
Located: In the Skate Hardgoods Zone
Master board maker Paul Schmitt will bring his popular educational curriculum back to the show floor of ASR. Retailers will have the chance to create their own personal skate board deck, and learn how to attract new customers to skateboarding.
ASR MediaCast
Presented By: Zone 57
Emmy award winning producer Alan Gibby will once again make sure that ASR doesn’t end after its three day run. Zone 57 will steam interviews, contests, and product trends directly off of the ASR floor to websites all over the action sports world.
ASEC GREEN ROOM
Located: Ballroom 20 A, B & C
ASR will once again partner with the Action Sports Environmental Coalition to present the continued evolutions of the action sports industry toward develop sustainable business practices and environmental responsibility. Inside the Green Room, retailers will be able to see first hand the many efforts brands are undertaking to adopt eco-friendly business practices.
