After 76 events in 16 countries around the world, the vast field of competitors was narrowed down to 256 for the 2008 VQS World Championships Muscle Beach Party. Each of them qualified in their respective regions and made their way to Newport Beach for this muscular event of steroidal proportions.
Once all of the gym membership forms were filled out, the fitness center was opened and the intense iron pumping sessions began. Right from the start the competition was strenuous and you could really feel the burn!
As the Muscle Beach Party progressed further, the competition intensified, biceps were strained, veins bulged, eyes popped and even the swell size kept bulking up like it too had been in the gym with its personal trainer. By Sunday there were some brawny sets and a few curling tubes.
