The Board Retailers Association (BRA) is the unified voice and
action group representing independent board sports retailers across the
United States. The name Board Retailers Association reflects the
multidimensional aspect that most retailers in our industry have.
Surfboarding, skateboarding, snowboarding and wakeboarding all share a
central theme as board sport retailers. BRA organizes and expresses the
views and concerns of independent board sport retailers to
manufacturer's associations and major trade show organizations in an
effort to help promote our industry and support the board sports

SIMA is the trade association of competing surf industry product
suppliers working together to magnify their power for the development
of the surf industry by promoting awareness and participation in the
sport of surfing; endorsing industry trade shows to assist members in
bringing products to market; providing programs, services and
information to assist members in improving business operations;
supporting oceanic environmental efforts and by recognizing and being

IASC's (the International Association of Skateboard Companies) goals are to promote skateboarding, increase participation, save its
members money, and educate. IASC's focuses our marketing efforts around
Go Skateboarding Day on
June 21, every year, the IASC annual push to get everyone on a
skateboard. Go Skateboarding Day, an international event, began in
2004. Each year the holiday grows bigger and better than last.
Skateboard parks, skateboard shops, cities and skateboarders plan
events such as barbeques, fundraisers, contests, or simply took to the
streets. IASC's priority is to involve more youth in skateboarding. To
encourage more kids to get on and stay on skateboards we hold Learn to

Go Skateboarding Day Docu-Mental Retailer Contest
IASC and ASR have teamed up again this year to present
the Docu-Mental Retailer Contest. Retailers documenting their Go
Skateboarding Day activities on June 21st could win an all expenses
